You probably already know that successful visualization is a key Law of Attraction technique.
With visualization, you imagine your goals as already complete, and when you do it correctly, you can really speed up your Law of Attraction results.
Visualization is a tool used by many elite athletes, celebrities, and other successful individuals to achieve their goals and dreams.
Tennis star Billie Jean King and Al Oerter, a four-time Olympic gold medalist, used successful visualization in the 1960s. Emily Cook, a national champion freestyle skier and Olympian, uses visualization today to successfully recover from injury and achieve amazing results in competition.
“In my mind, I’ve always been an A-list Hollywood superstar. Y’all just didn’t know yet.” – Will Smith
Successful visualization usually takes some practice, so it's okay if you don't master it right away.
To help you speed up your manifesting success, here are my 5 secret visualization tips that you can use to boost your results TODAY.
Visualization Success Tip #1: Start from the right state of mind
Successful visualization begins with a positive state of mind. Do something to clear you mind and calm yourself down prior to visualizing. Listen to some music. Go for a walk. Take a bath. Think of a few things you are truly grateful for.
“When I was very young I visualized myself being and having what it was I wanted. Mentally I never had any doubts about it. The mind is really so incredible. Before I won my first Mr. Universe title, I walked around the tournament like I owned it. The title was already mine. I had won it so many times in my mind that there was no doubt I would win it. Then when I moved on to the movies, the same thing. I visualized myself being a famous actor and earning big money. I could feel and taste success. I just knew it would all happen.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger
Visualization Success Tip #2: Use all your senses
The most successful visualizations include all 5 senses – smell, taste, touch, hearing, and sight. When you're doing your visualization, really focus on all the details. What smells are in the air? What do people's voices sound like? What does your clothing feel like?
Think of yourself as the lead actor in a movie. A successful visualization isn't one where you are watching yourself on a movie screen. It's one where you are actively participating in the visualization.
You are looking from your eyes, experiencing everything just as you are now experiencing reading this article on your screen.
In your visualization, you literally can reach out and touch another person. Smell their perfume or cologne.
If their is a dog in your visualization, you can feel their body heat. You can feel them lick your hand – notice how wet your hand gets, how soft their tongue is.
Get inspired and have fun with your visualization, making it as real and vivid as possible.
But remember to be patient. It will get easier over time.
“I train myself mentally with visualization. The morning of a tournament, before I put my feet on the floor, I visualize myself making perfect runs with emphasis on technique, all the way through to what my personal best is in practice…. The more you work with this type of visualization, especially when you do it on a day-to-day basis, you’ll actually begin to feel your muscles contracting at the appropriate times.” – Camille Duvall, professional water skier
Visualization Success Tip #3: Put some emotion into it
Actually, put A LOT of emotion into it.
The more you actually feel happy, free, loved, sexy, successful, abundant, wealthy, and free when visualizing your goals, the more you raise your vibration. Your visualization becomes 10 times more powerful!
If you have trouble feeling emotions when visualizing, think of a time when you had a similar feeling. What was the happiest time in your life? When were you the most successful? When did you feel the most free?
Spend a moment reliving that experience, capturing its magic. Then begin your visualization. Maintain the emotions you were experiencing when you were reliving your happy moment. Allow them to become a part of your visualization.
“I would visualize things coming to me. It would just make me feel better. Visualization works if you work hard. That’s the thing. You can’t just visualize and go eat a sandwich.” – Jim Carrey
Visualization Success Tip #4: Practice, practice, practice
Visualization is a skill. The more often you do it, the more comfortable and natural it becomes.
Also, the more you practice visualizing, the easier it will be to accept your visualizations as a part of your current reality.
When that happens, you'll start to experience truly successful visualizations and even more rapid Law of Attraction results.
“Projecting your mind into a successful situation is the most powerful means to achieve goals.” – Estée Lauder
